The Permian boys basketball team can lock up the No. 1 playoff seed from District 2-6A on Tuesday night with a road win over Amarillo Tascosa. Tipoff is at 7:30.
The Panthers (25-3 overall, 7-0 district) defeated Odessa High for the second time in district play Friday, meaning that they own the tiebreaker between the schools. Tascosa (18-10, 4-3) is in third place in the district standings.
The Permian girls basketball team also travels to Amarillo Tascosa for its last game of the season at 6 p.m. The Lady Panthers (12-15, 2-7) will finish in fifth place in the district standings.
