GIRLS SOCCER: Permian falls in bi-district round to El Paso El Dorado

ARTESIA, N.M. The Permian girls soccer team allowed a late penalty-kick goal to fall 2-1 to El Paso El Dorado in a Class 6A bi-district playoff Thursday afternoon at the Mack Chase Athletic Complex.

The Lady Aztecs scored 11 minutes into the game and held the lead for a majority of the contest.

Lady Panthers’ junior Tobi McCoy tied the game with less than 10 minutes left in regulation with an assist from Kyree Moreno.

Permian (15-8-1) ends its season in the bi-district round of the playoffs for the second straight season to the top seed from District 1-6A.
