GIRLS SOCCER: Permian downs Midland Lee 1-0

MIDLAND The Permian girls soccer team only scored once Friday against Midland Lee, but it was good enough to earn all three points.

The Lady Panthers downed the Lady Rebels 1-0 at Grande Communications Stadium in District 2-6A action on a second half goal from Gabby Galindo. Toby McCoy got an assist on the tally.

Permian improves to 13-4-1, 2-2-0-1 district, seven points with the victory. The Lady Panthers played the rest of their regular season games at Ratliff Stadium starting March 6.
