LUBBOCK The Odessa High girls soccer team started the Lubbock tournament with a pair of wins over Lubbock High and El Paso Jefferson.
The Lady Bronchos defeated Lubbock High 5-0 Thursday night with two goals apiece from Alondra Venegas and Miranda Cardona. Lesli Diaz scored Odessa High’s other goal.
On Friday morning, Odessa High took down El Paso Jefferson 1-0 with the game’s lone goal coming from Jamie Natividad.
Catalina Ulate and Paula Pequeno have both spent time in net during the tournament.
