MIDLAND The Odessa High girls soccer team picked up three points Tuesday with a 6-1 victory over Midland Lee at Grande Communications Stadium.
Yareli Barrera scored twice for the Lady Bronchos. The other Odessa High goals came from Alondra Venegas, Alyssa Anchondo, Cameron Rodriguez and Miranda Cardona.
Odessa High (15-6-0 overall, 5-2-1-0 district, 17 points) leapfrogged Midland High for second place in the district standings with the win.
The Lady Bronchos host Permian at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Ratliff Stadium in their penultimate regular-season game.
