GIRLS SOCCER: McCoy scores two, Permian takes down Abilene Wylie

ABILENE Permian’s Tobi McCoy scored two second-half goals to lift the Lady Panthers to a 2-1 victory against Abilene Wyliein a nondistrict soccer game Friday night at Bulldog Field.

McCoy’s goals were three minutes apart in the second half as Permian first tied the game, then took the lead for good. Abilene Wylie scored its goal in the first half. Lauren Simmons played in net for the Lady Panthers.

Natalie Terry and Jaden Sosa picked up assists on McCoy’s goals. The Lady Panthers improved to 10-1-1 with the victory.
