WOLFFORTH The Odessa High boys soccer team was the lone ECISD varsity soccer team to score Tuesday night, but couldn’t get enough of a rhythm to defeat Wolfforth Frenship.
The Tigers downed the Bronchos 2-1 in District 2-6A action at the Frenship Soccer Complex.
Odessa High’s goal was scored by Jose Leyva in the second half of the game. The Bronchos (10-10-1 overall, 2-3-0-1 district, seven points) still sit one point out of a playoff spot with the loss.
Odessa High returns to action 2 p.m. Saturday against Amarillo Tascosa.
