EL PASO The Permian boys soccer team picked up a pair of 1-0 victories to kick of the Far West Tournament in El Paso.

On Thursday, the Panthers defeated El Paso Ysleta on a goal from Irving Martinez that was assisted by Aidan Everett.

Permian also defeated El Paso’s Lydia Patterson Institute Friday morning on a goal from Luis Ibarra.
