BOYS SOCCER: Odessa High falls on penalty kicks to Midland Lee

MIDLAND The Odessa High boys soccer team fell in penalty kicks Tuesday against Midland Lee at Grande Communications Stadium after the score was deadlocked at 3 at the end of regulation.

The Bronchos (11-11-1 overall, 3-3-0-2 district, 11 points) allowed a Rebels goal in the final 30 seconds of the game to not claim all three points.

The penalty-kick loss ties Odessa High with Permian on points in fourth place in the district standings. The teams face off Friday at Ratliff Stadium in a possible playoff-elimination game. Midland Lee clinched a playoff berth with the victory.
