AMARILLO The Odessa High boys soccer team got back to its winning ways Saturday by taking down Amarillo Tascosa 7-2 in District 2-6A action at Dick Bivins Stadium.
The Bronchos goals were scored by Jose Leyva (2), Alan Rubio (2), Luis Ortega, Cain Cordova and Jona Ruhlander.
Odessa High (11-10-1 overall, 3-3-0-1 district, 10 points) passes Permian for fourth place in the district standings with the victory. The Bronchos lead the Panthers by two points.
Odessa High goes back on the road Tuesday night for its next district match against Midland Lee at Grande Communications Stadium.
