The Odessa High boys soccer team defeated Abilene Cooper 1-0 Friday night on the turf fields at Ratliff Stadium.
Jona Ruhlander scored the game’s only goal. Nana Prempeh and Alex Leyva split time in net for the shutout.
Odessa High opens District 2-6A play Friday with a game against Wolfforth Frenship.
