HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL: Permian finishes with five victories at Granbury Tournament

GRANBURY The Permian volleyball team finished 5-4 over the span of three days during the Granbury Tournament that wrapped up Saturday at Granbury High School.

The Lady Panthers (14-7 overall) started off 0-3 in pool play but was able to bounce back with five straight victories over the final two days before Midland High snapped the winning streak, 25-19, 21-25, 25-17, during the Bronze Bracket championship match.

Permian defeated El Paso El Dorado and Joshua, respectively, Saturday and were led by 26 kills from Nyxalee Munoz Saturday.

Denali Cardenas had 75 assists total over the three matches Saturday to lead Permian.
