ALPINE The Compass Academy volleyball team made the long trek to the Davis Mountains and came away with a 25-18, 25-18, 26-24 victory against Alpine in nondistrict play Tuesday at Alpine.
Carleigh Jones had 15 kills to lead the Lady Cougars, with Camille Kubacak adding eight to the victory.
Paige Jones finished with 10 assists.
