EULESS Permian’s Isabella Fanucci and Odessa High’s Brenna Waddell both wrapped up competition at the Texas High School Gymnastics State Meet Thursday at Trinity High School.
Fanucci finished tied for 21st in the all-around standings with a two-day score of 73.60 points while Waddell was 49th with a 64.925.
During the optional portion of the meet, Fanucci scored a 9.4 in both the vault and balance beam while Waddell’s top mark (9.075) was on the balance beam. She also scored a 9.0 in the vault.
San Angelo Central won its 10 state championship with a record 235.525 points. Hurst L.D. Bell (231.60) was second, with Rockwall High finishing third (231.325).
