The Permian football team concludes its annual spring practices with the Black-White game at 6:30 tonight at Ratliff Stadium.

The Panthers began practice in April and will be looking for a quarterback to replace Steve Steen, who graduates next week before heading to the Naval Academy in the fall.

Permian went 8-1 overall, 5-1 in District 2-6A last season and then defeated El Paso Coronado in the Class 6A bi-district playoffs before losing to Arlington Martin in the area round of the postseason.
