HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: Bronchos defeat Midland High behind four double-digit scorers

MIDLAND Four double-digit scorers helped the Odessa High boys basketball team grab a 73-63 win over Midland High Tuesday on the road.

LJ Willis led the way for the Bronchos with 19 points, while Coco Rose, Caleb Ramirez and Ivan Carreon each contributed 13.

The Bronchos got out to a strong start in the first quarter and took a 41-35 lead into the halftime break.

Odessa High then managed to outscore the Bulldogs by four points in the second half to win their fourth District 2-6A game of the season.

It helped the Bronchos bounce back from their first district loss against Wolfforth Frenship last week.

Odessa High (20-5 overall, 4-1 district) will face San Angelo Central at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the OHS Fieldhouse.
