WOLFFORTH The Odessa High baseball team did not get the result it was hoping for Saturday, falling 13-0 to Wolfforth Frenship in five innings in the final game of a three-game District 2-6A series at Tiger Field.
The Bronchos (15-12 overall, 6-9 district) fell behind 5-0 through the first two innings before the Tigers broke through with an eight-run fourth inning to seal the game.
Ryland Morin allowed just one Odessa High hit and struck out six to lead Frenship (19-11, 13-3) on the mound.
Odessa High remained tied for fourth place with San Angelo Central in the standings with two games to go, while Frenship won its 11th straight game and is tied for first place with Permian.
