STEPHENVILLE The UTPB women’s basketball team couldn’t find an answer for Tarleton State, losing 65-49 in Lone Star Conference play Thursday night at Wisdom Gymnasium.
Sierra LaGrande scored 14 points to lead the Falcons (7-20 overall, 5-14 Lone Star Conference). No other UTPB player was in double figures as the team managed just two free throws in the contest.
Katie Webster had a game-high 17 points to lead the TexAnns (18-9, 12-7), with Mackenzie Hailey adding 15 points in the victory.
