On Saturday afternoon at Wranglers Field, the Odessa College Lady Wranglers swept the Western Oklahoma State College Pioneers 8-0 and 12-0.

Julyssa Hernandez led the Lady Wranglers (16-3) in game one going 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI. Cami Deanda went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs.

Brooke Ryan and Marly Natividad each finished 2 for 3.

Pitchers Brittany Kennett and Hope Schoeneman combined for a one-hitter in five innings. The duo tallied six strikeouts.

Odessa College outhit the Pioneers 13-1.

In game two, Crystal Carrillo finished 2 for 3 with a home run and two RBIs, while Alli Gutierrez went 1 for 1 with three RBIs.

Hernandez finished 1 for 3 with a double and two RBIs.

Elva Castillo and Schoeneman combined for a two-hitter in five innings. The pair struck out four batters.

Odessa College plays at Frank Phillips College for a doubleheader Friday. Games begin at 1 p.m.
