The UTPB volleyball team fell in three sets to No. 10 West Texas A&M Saturday at Falcon Dome.
UTPB lost by scores of 25-12, 25-15, 28-26.
The Falcons fell to 8-3 overall, 1-1 in Lone Star Conference.
The Lady Buffs improved to 9-3, 2-0.
West Texas A&M was led by Currie Marusak who had 11 kills while Anglina had three aces.
Ainsley Malis had 28 assists.
Bryli Contreras had 16 digs.
UTPB was led by Ashlee Macias in kills with 12. She also had one ace.
Jenna Gray had 15 assists while Gabby Gregoriski had 15 digs.
UTPB’s next game will be against Texas A&M-Kingsville at 6 p.m. Oct. 4 on the road.
West Texas A&M will next be at home against Angelo State at 6 p.m. Oct. 4 in Canyon.
