The UTPB volleyball team fell in four sets against Lubbock Christian Saturday at the Falcon Dome.
Lubbock Christian defeated the Falcons 18-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-22.
Aquincia Strambler led the offensive attack for UTPB with 18 kills, followed by Taurie Magee who recorded 11 and Isela Murillo’s 10.
Aaliyah Gray paced Lubbock Christian with 14 kills.
It was the Falcons second straight loss after they fell against Angelo State Thursday at home.
The result has UTPB sitting in sixth in the Lone Star Conference behind Texas A&M-Commerce, with four matches left on its regular season schedule.
UTPB will play Texas Woman’s on the road at 6 p.m. Friday in Denton.
