LUBBOCK The Odessa College softball team will face El Paso Community College in the first round of the NJCAA Region V West Tournament at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Lubbock Christian University.
The winner of the game will advance to meet Clarendon College at 6:30 p.m., while the loser drops into the consolation bracket.
The Region V West Tournament winner will advance to the NJCAA Division I Softball Championship Tournament on May 16-19 at the Canyons Complex in St. George, Utah.
