A pair of Odessa College softball players swept the weekly awards from the Western Junior College Athletic Conference released Tuesday.
Illy Cisneros was named the Player of the Week after finishing with six hits in the weekend series at Clarendon College, including a pair of home runs to go with nine runs batted in and seven runs scored.
Aydenne Brown was named Pitcher of the Week for the eighth time in the 2021 season by earning a pair of wins and allowing just two earned runs on hits and striking out 28 batters over 12 innings.
The Wranglers return to play with a doubleheader at Midland College starting at 1 p.m. Friday in Midland.
