Odessa College had several honorees when the Western Junior College Athletic Conference announced its all-conference rodeo team Tuesday.

The Wranglers took home the Men’s Team Champion award, with coach C.J. Aragon earning Men’s Coach of the Year accolades.

Odessa College’s Madeline Dickens, who won the Southwest Region all-around title, was the conference’s Women’s Athlete of the Year, along with first-team honors in barrel racing and honorable mention in goat tying.

BoDell Jensen was the first-team selection in bareback riding, with teammate Wyatt Johnson earning honorable mention in the same discipline.

The Wranglers’ men’s team, as well as Dickens, are headed to the College National Finals Rodeo in June in Casper, Wyoming.
