COLLEGE FOOTBALL: UTPB set to play Eastern New Mexico in Midland

The UTPB football team looks to bounce back as it hosts Eastern New Mexico at 6 p.m. Saturday at Grande Communications Stadium in Midland.

The Falcons (4-2 overall, 2-1 in Lone Star Conference) saw their 11-game winning streak against Division II opponents snapped last week in a loss at Angelo State.

Quarterback Clayton Roberts has thrown for 1,077 yards and 12 touchdown this season, with MJ Link (26 receptions, 455 yards, six TDs) and Kobe Robinson (37-321-1) his top targets.

Freshman running back Jayvon Davis leads the team with 378 yards on 67 carries, with four touchdowns.

The Greyhounds (3-4, 1-3) are led by quarterback Nathan Valencia, who has thrown for 14 touchdowns this season.
