HUTCHINSON, KAN. The Odessa College basketball team saw its season come to an end Tuesday as the Wranglers fell 95-56 to No. 10 seed Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College in the second round of the NJCAA Division I Basketball Tournament Tuesday at the Hutchinson Events Center.
No. 7 seed Odessa College (20-3 overall) fell behind 52-32 and could not catch up to a Coffeyville team that finished the game shooting 53.8% from the field for the game.
Love Bettis was one of six Red Ravens to finish in double figures scoring and led with a game-high 22 points and added three steals. Tylor Perry added 15 points to go with seven rebounds and four assists. Tre Richardson led the Wranglers with 11 points while Elijah Tate added nine.
Coffeyville (23-3) advances to face No. 2 seed Northern Oklahoma Tonkawa in the quarterfinals at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
