COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Dallas Baptist turns first-half lead into victory against UTPB

Cameron Khan scored a game-high 28 points to lead Dallas Baptist to an 82-75 victory against UTPB in Lone Star Conference play Thursday at the Falcon Dome.

Ricky Lujan added 18 points and Julian Miranda finished with 17 as the Patriots improved to 9-6 overall and 3-1 in conference play.

DaJuan Jones scored 23 points to lead the Falcons (9-6, 1-3), with Jordan Horn finishing with 17 points in the loss.

The Falcons have lost three straight and will try to right the ship against Midwestern State at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Falcon Dome.
