Visiting Tarleton State scored nine runs in the seventh inning to take control in a 14-11 victory against UTPB in Lone Star Conference play Monday at Roden Field.
The Falcons led at the time of the outburst thanks to a seven-run third inning that saw them take a 9-2 lead .
Skyler Palermo was 4 for 6 with two runs scored and two RBIs to pace the Falcons’ 12-hit afternoon. Simon Clarke added a 3-for-4 performance, with two runs scored and two RBIs, in the loss.
