MIDLAND Sockers FC officially knows who it will play in the postseason.

The Sockers will host Dallas City FC at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Grande Communications Stadium in the National Premier Soccer League Lone Star Conference semifinals.

The winner of that match will play the winner of the other semifinal between the No. 2 seed Denton Diablos and No. 3 seed Fort Worth Vaqueros.  That match is also scheduled to take place Thursday. The winners will face each other in the conference final Saturday with the highest seed hosting.

Dallas City clinched the No. 4 seed late Saturday night after defeating the Laredo Heat 1-0 in McKinney.

The Sockers earned the No. 1 seed and the club’s first regular season division title over the weekend after its previously scheduled match with Tyler FC was cancelled. The team earned a 3-0 victory and three points as a result.
