BOYS HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER: Panthers rally to earn draw with Midland High

MIDLAND The Permian boys soccer team was able to overcome a 2-0 halftime deficit to force a 3-3 draw with Midland High on Tuesday night at Grande Communications Stadium.

However, coupled with Midland Lee’s victory against Amarillo Tascosa, the Panthers (8-9-7 overall, 2-5-2) were eliminated from playoff contention.

The Bulldogs (9-6-5, 3-4-3) were able to clinch a playoff spot with the result.

Permian closes its season at home next Tuesday against Amarillo Tascosa, while Midland High travels to play Wolfforth Frenship.
