HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER: Lady Panthers win, Permian boys fall to Tascosa

Both the Permian boys and girls soccer teams wrapped up their respective regular seasons Tuesday night with matchups against Amarillo Tascosa.

On the girls side, the Lady Panthers finished with a 9-0 win over Amarillo Tascosa on Tuesday night at Ratliff Stadium.

Nyxalee Munoz had two goals on the night while Tobi McCoy had a goal and two assists to lead the Lady Panthers.

With the win, Permian (13-4-3 overall, 6-2-2 in district) finished second in the District 2-6A standings while the Rebels (4-17-3, 0-10-0) finished sixth.

The Lady Panthers will face El Paso Pebble Hills in the Class 6A bidistrict round with the date, time and place yet to be determined.

The Permian boys ended the season with a 2-1 loss to Tascosa on Tuesday night, finishing 7-10-7 overall and 2-6-2 in district.

All three goals were scored in the second half.

The Rebels (5-16-3, 1-9-0) end the season in last in the standings while the Panthers finished fifth.
