Brian Madison and Josh Ham teamed up to fire a 9-under-par 63 to take the first-round lead in the Championship Flight at the Quarter Century Partnership Thursday at Odessa Country Club.

The duo holds a one-shot lead over a trio of teams – Mike Maes-Martin Board, Jay McHugh-Andrew Wyatt and Hunter Hendrick-Jerrod Simmons.

There are 14 teams within five shots of the lead.

After playing the Links Course in the first round, the Championship Flight teams will tee off at 7:30 a.m. Friday on the Old Course. They will finish Saturday back on the Links Course.
