The Odessa College men’s golf team got a financial boost Thursday when the school announced that Harvey and Peggy Page made a $100,000 donation to the Wrangler Club and the golf program.

In a release from the school, the donation will “provide support and scholarship to Odessa College’s successful NJCAA Division I men’s golf program.”

The men’s golf team has won nine national titles in the program’s history and finished tied for ninth at the NJCAA National Championships in May in Viera, Fla. The 2020 NJCAA National Championships will be held May 11-15 at Odessa Country Club.

“The Odessa College golf program is very appreciative of this generous contribution from Harvey and Peggy Page,” said head coach Paul Chavez in the release. “This donation will be a game changer for the golf program at OC.”
