>> Notes: Andrews hasn’t met Snyder since Nov. 9, 2007. So far, the Mustangs have been involved in a shootout every week. This could be another wild game for Andrews QB Brett Leach and company.

>> Notes: This could be an interesting game between two squads that are trying to get back on track. If the Eagles can come out firing behind QB Jonathan Aguilar then they could come out on top.

 

 MIDLAND CHRISTIAN MUSTANGS AT MONAHANS LOBOES

>> Records: Midland Christian 3-0; Monahans 2-1

>> Last Week: Midland Christian defeated Wall, 35-34; Monahans defeated Big Spring, 35-14

>> Notes: The Mustangs are 6-4 against Monahans since 2004. The last meeting between both teams was Aug. 30, 2013. This could be a shootout if the Loboes’ running game can control the tempo.

>> Notes: Wink has plenty of offensive firepower and momentum behind QB Nick Gray. Alpine will have to be solid on defense.

>> Notes: The Eagles’ offense, led by QB David Corralez and RB Omar Vasquez, could be too much for Anthony to handle.

 

REAGAN COUNTY OWLS AT MCCAMEY BADGERS

>> Records: Reagan County 2-1; McCamey 1-2

>> Last Week: Reagan County defeated Ozona, 13-6; Crane defeated McCamey, 26-21

>> Last Season: McCamey 28, Reagan County 6

>> Notes: McCamey has to have some short-term memory after last week’s loss. The Badgers have to also regroup on offense behind RB Gunner Adams if they want to break a two-game losing skid.

 

 IRAAN BRAVES AT ELDORADO EAGLES

>> Records: Iraan 3-0; Eldorado 2-1

>> Last Week: Iraan defeated Menard, 25-14; Eldorado defeated Bracketville, 30-19

>> Notes: Iraan has been solid thus far behind RB Mario DeLuna. This will be another good road test for the Braves.

 

FORT DAVIS INDIANS AT FORT HANCOCK MUSTANGS

>> Records: Fort Davis 1-1; Fort Hancock 0-2

>> Last Week: Sierra Blanca defeated Fort Davis, 62-30; Animas (N.M.) defeated Fort Hancock, 61-16

>> Notes: The teams have not met in three years. This could be a potential confidence-booster for the Indians if they can execute well on both sides of the ball.

 

RANKIN RED DEVILS AT WESTBROOK WILDCATS

>> Records: Rankin 3-0; Westbrook 1-2

>> Last Week: Rankin defeated Buena Vista, 67-54; Westbrook defeated Veribest, 48-13

>> Notes: This is a trap game for Rankin, who must stay focused and not think about a Week 5 matchup with Garden City.

>> Last Week: Garden City defeated Balmorhea, 53-32; McLean defeated Follett, 48-0

>> Notes: Balmorhea takes on the No. 1 team in Division I after playing the fifth-ranked team in Week 3. The Bears have their hands full yet again.
