The Odessa Police Department Criminal Investigation Division has scheduled a fraud awareness training for the elderly from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today the Odessa Police Department classroom, 205 N. Grant Ave. Topics include: What fraud against the elderly is and how it happens; different types of scams perpetrated against the elderly; how to avoid becoming a victim of potential scams; and how to report fraudulent activity.
