Belmont Baptist Church, 1200 W. Eighth St., has scheduled its second annual Super Chili Bowl Contest from noon to 1 p.m. Sunday.

Prizes will be awarded for the top three entries, first place, $100; second place, $50; and third place, $25.

A contest between the two teams will be conducted. The a 49er barrel and a Chiefs barrel will be ready for those who want to donate canned goods to the West Texas Food Bank, whichever team attracts the most cans wins “Souper Bowl.”

Lutheran Church of the Risen Lord, 1603 N. Grandview Ave., has scheduled a food pantry to help those in need from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.
