Songwriter Bryon Garrison and his family are scheduled to perform at 7 p.m. today at the First Presbyterian Church, 202 N Oklahoma St., Fort Stockton. The concert is open to the public and all are invited to attend. Admission is three to five canned goods for the food pantry, which is located at the church. Donations are also welcome.

The Rev. Roy Varghese CMI, the spiritual director of Shalom Media of Edinburg, will conduct a Healing Mass at 6:30 p.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 7601 N. Grandview Ave. The mass will include the healing mass, preaching and healing adoration. The public is invited and there is no charge. Varghese is a Carmelite priest, a native of India, and has conducted healing masses throughout Texas and other parts of the USA.

First United Methodist Church Foundation Kids, 415 N. Lee Ave., has scheduled Family Date Night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 18 and Nov. 8.

Events include paint night (Oct. 18) and game night (Nov. 8).
