The Mission Dorado Baptist Church Kids Ministry will be taking a group of kids in third grade through fifth grade to Pre-Teen Camp Monday through Friday at Camp Copass in Denton.

Twenty-seven local and area churches have combined to plan tent meetings, “All Lives Matter” Great Tent Celebration, with a variety of speakers at 7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, 11 a.m. July 20 and 5 p.m. July 21 at north side of Music City Mall, 4101 E. 42nd St.

Speakers will include businessmen Dick Saulsbury of Odessa and Glenn Lynch of Fort Worth, former Permian High School football player Joe Beene, who was paralyzed at a practice during the 2000 season, and Martin County Sheriff Brad Ingram, who recently survived a near-death medical emergency.

  Lutheran Church of the Risen Lord, 1603 N. Grandview Ave., has scheduled a food pantry to help those in need from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.
