HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: Six area players selected for GWTBCA All-Star Game

Six area high school baseball players were selected to take part in the Greater West Texas Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game on June 15 at Lubbock-Cooper High School in Woodrow.

The full rosters were announced by the GWTBCA earlier this week.

Permian’s Manny Guerrero, Greenwood’s Brooks Lundgren and Andrews’ Gustavo Rodriguez will all be on the Red Team in the Big School (4A-5A-6A-TAPPS) Game.

Alpine’s Alex Gonzales, Tyler Estrada and Nick Crespo will participate in the Small School (3A-2A) Game.

The big school game will take place at 11 a.m. with the small school game to follow at 2 p.m.
