The Permian baseball team will look to avenge an early-season district loss as the Panthers host Midland Lee at 4:30 p.m. today at McCanlies Field.

The Panthers (13-9 overall, 3-2 district) currently sit in a three-way tie for second with Lee (14-6, 3-2) and Midland High after the first cycle of district play.

The Rebels are coming off a 13-2 victory against Amarillo Tascosa Saturday after their game was postponed due to inclement weather.

Midland Lee defeated Permian 11-4 in its only other matchup this season on March 14.
