HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS: Odessa High falls to Andrews

The Odessa High tennis team fell 12-7 to Andrews in a non-district match Tuesday at Ratliff Tennis Complex.

Andrews took a 5-2 lead in the doubles matches, then stayed in front by winning four of six boys singles matches and splitting the six girls singles matches.

Luis Ramos of Andrews defeated Joseph Thomas 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 1 boys singles match and teamed up with Kaiti Jeppesen to defeat Greg Andrade and Kayzsa Cox 6-0, 6-1 in the mixed doubles match.

Azaria Quezada of Odessa High defeated Tatum Rondam of Andrews 6-1, 5-7, 1-0 (2) in the No. 1 girls singles match.

Odessa High (11-10) concludes its regular season next Tuesday in the District 2-6A finale against Permian.
