Brett Whitfield’s shot of a Seminole football player tackling an Andrews Mustang is this week’s OA Varsity photo contest winner.

The shot shows Seminole Indians Andrew Espino trying to bring down an Andrews football player when the two teams met up Sept. 28.

The Mustangs won the game 25 to 21.

Since the start of the regular football season, online readers have been submitting their football action photos to www.oavarsity.com.

Our photographers have gone through this week’s football photographs for the best one.

There’s still time for you to enter and win, too. We’ll be picking a new best photo every week throughout the season. And, each week’s winner will receive a prize.

At the end of the season, we’ll put all of the winners on our website and let our readers decide which one’s the best.

The grand prize winner will receive a digital camera to help them take more sports shots.

To become next week’s winner, go to www.oavarsity.com, scroll down to community photos and click the “submit your pictures” button. Then follow the step-by-step instructions.

Make sure you provide your name and a phone number or else your picture will not be considered.

Also be sure to log onto oaoa.com and oavarsity.com tonight for the latest football scores and play by play updates.
