Our apologies

This summer has been rough on us. A lack of employees and no air conditioning have taken a toll.

We apologize for recent missed deliveries of the Odessa American. We are experiencing a carrier shortage that has impacted our ability to deliver the paper. Both a lack of carriers and illness on our carrier force has caused this issue.

We are committed to providing a quality product that serves this community. If you miss a paper, please call 888- 693-7191. This number is to our call center located in McAllen. Our own office, located at 4101 E. 42nd St., Suite 200, has been without air conditioning the entire summer. That has led to reduced hours due to the heat.

We realize these problems that we are experiencing are our own issues and that you don’t have to turn to us for your news, sports and entertainment needs. But we are glad that you do and hope you can bear with us a bit longer as we work on recruiting carriers and wait for our air conditioning issues to be resolved.

In the meantime, please visit our website at oaoa.com or our replica edition at myoaoa.com
