Police looking to identity suspect in golf cart theft

The Odessa Police Department is looking for a person that reportedly stole a red "Club Car" golf cart.

The reported theft happened at 7:43 p.m. May 7 in the 3900 block of Firenze Street, an OPD press release stated.

The complainant reported a person stole the golf cart, while it was parked in the alley, the release stated. The golf cart was reportedly valued at $4,000.

OPD Detectives looked at multiple surveillance cameras and it showed a newer model black Dodge Ram 4-door crew cab with a long bed and tow mirrors pulling a black trailer, the release stated.

Surveillance footage showed the same vehicle leaving eastbound in the alley with the golf cart, the released detailed. Photos of the pickup can be seen at tinyurl.com/y277y8ks.
