A 29-year-old woman who was already in jail on an unrelated charge received two additional charges after she was identified in connection to a robbery at Super Wash.

Blaine Lavonna Decker was charged Tuesday with two counts of robbery, each a second-degree felony.

An Odessa Crime Stoppers tip identified Decker as the woman in Super Wash surveillance photos and a warrant was obtained for her arrest, an Odessa Police Department release stated.

OPD spokesperson Steve LeSueur said over the phone Decker was at the Ector County Law Enforcement Center after going off bond on possession of a controlled substance charge. Decker was arrested on Jan. 15 and received the additional charges on Tuesday.

A previous Odessa American article stated the reported theft happened at 5:34 p.m. Nov. 6, 2018, at 3304 Andrews Highway.

Investigation showed an employee at Super Wash left their iPhone, identification card, debit cards and $300 on a countertop, a release stated. A woman reportedly took the employee’s property and began running north through the parking lot.

Two employees chased the woman and when they caught up to her, she swung at both employees and struck one of them in the face, the release detailed.
