The Odessa Police Department has reportedly received a number of tips to help identify the three people of interest in connection to the deaths of 6-year-old twin sisters from Odessa.

OPD spokesperson Cpl. Steve LeSueur said via phone Monday morning the persons of interest aren’t suspects.

LeSueur explained OPD officials want to interview the people about the events that happened at Toby’s Lounge prior to the double fatality of 6-year-old twin sisters, Mya and Mia Coy.

The surveillance footage was taken from the MCM Grande Hotel and FunDome of two men and a woman leaving Toby’s Lounge located inside the hotel. Footage can be seen at OPD’s Facebook page at tinyurl.com/yyya25fn.

Angelica Garcia, 36, of Midland was arrested and charged July 3 after she reportedly struck and killed the twin sisters. Garcia was charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter, a second-degree felony.

The fatal collision happened at 9:04 p.m. July 3 near the intersection of East Highway 80 and Club Drive, an OPD press release detailed.

Garcia was reportedly driving a gray 2014 Chrysler 200 east on the north service road of East Highway 80 near Club Drive. Garcia continued east through a barricade and struck the 6-year-old twin sisters who were standing near a firework stand before striking a large trailer.

Garcia stated she had been drinking at Toby’s Lounge, an OPD affidavit stated. Garcia reportedly refused to cooperate with officers to take standard field sobriety tests. She was transported to Medical Center Hospital and a blood draw warrant was obtained.

Garcia reportedly showed signs of intoxication which included slurred speech, red glassy eyes, unsteady balance when standing or walking, urinated on herself and admitted she had drank “too much.”

Garcia had two bonds totaling $70,000 and posted bail on the Fourth of July, jail records show.

Funeral services for the twin girls were Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

The GoFundMe page for Mya and Mia Coy, which was created on July 4 by Bo and Brandy Douthit, raised $53,665.
