The 30-year-old woman stated she was physically and sexually assaulted at 12:30 a.m. June 8 in the 10000 block of West Bradley Drive, an Ector County Sheriff's Office affidavit detailed.

The woman reportedly took her husband to work at 12:01 a.m. and then went to hang out with friends at Big Daddy Zane's located at 6840 W. University Blvd.

While the woman was at the bar, she ran into her ex-boyfriend and they began to argue, the affidavit stated. The woman stated to avoid conflict she began walking to her vehicle in an attempt to leave.

Coursey reportedly followed her out to her vehicle, took her keys and made her get into the vehicle and then they left the parking lot. The woman stated while in the alley of Big Daddy Zane's that Coursey placed the vehicle in park and began to physically assault her.

The woman stated Coursey grabbed her by her hair and punched her multiple times in the face, the affidavit detailed. The woman stated the punching caused bruising, swelling and physical pain.

The woman reportedly started to scream and Coursey placed both of his hands around her throat, restricting her airway and caused her to lose her breath.

After Coursey physically assaulted her, he drove to his residence in the 10000 block of W. Bradley Drive, the affidavit stated. Coursey reportedly made the woman stay inside the residence and refused to let her leave.

The woman was able to get Coursey to let her go outside where he followed her to the vehicle and sexually assaulted her, which caused physical pain, the affidavit detailed.

After she was sexually assaulted, the woman reportedly went to Medical Center Hospital where she received medical treatment for her injuries and a SANE exam.
