This potent combination of almost equally poised positives and challenges makes the CNF landscape a very exciting and intriguing landscape to forecast.

Another aspect that needs to be understood in the context of CNFs is that this market will not add to the lure of VNFs. Quite to the contrary, it will cannibalize the VNFs. In essence, CNFs can be looked upon as an outcome of the telco disillusionment with VNFs to an extent.
