Art students and their professors from across Odessa gathered Wednesday evening at Odessa College to begin making a stock of cups and mugs to help go towards a new fundraiser called Mugs for Mutts and Cups for Cats that will help fund the construction of the newly approved Odessa Animal Control. Mugs for Mutts and Cups for Cats will operate similarly to the West Texas Food Bank’s Empty Bowls where patrons can pay to purchase the hand-made pottery which in turn will go towards the cause.
