The Sandhills Stock Show and Rodeo has blown into town for its opening day Wednesday at the Ector COunty Coliseum. Families from across the state and beyond spent the afternoon preparing amenities for their show stock as other rodeo officials prepared the arena and livestock for the first rodeo performance on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.. The weekend will host two other performances on Friday and Saturday at the same time in addition to livestock shows and sales at various times.
